Medical transaction provider pulseMD is working with Palm, Pumatech, and OmniSky to deliver mobile productivity solutions for physicians. The pulseMD clinical order management service consists of a mobile, point-to-point computing platform that enables physicians to prescribe medications, capture patient charges, and transfer the charge codes directly into practice management systems.

“Using the Palm-powered platform, pulseMD has developed a healthcare application that will potentially enable thousands of physicians to automate manual processes that cost the healthcare industry billions of dollars each year,” said Gabriel Acosta-Lopez, senior director of platform alliances and partner services at Palm.
