Abbott Northwestern Hospital has signed a 10-year strategic alliance with Siemens Medical Solutions to collaborate in cardiac R&D activities at the 128-bed heart hospital, which will open in February 2005.
The alliance will focus on cardiovascular research in modalities including cardiac cath and CT, as well as cross-modality clinical research to gain a better understanding of cardiovascular disease, its prevention and treatment.
