SmartLight will make its RSNA debut with a unique computer-controlledlight box designed to eliminate glare. When a film is placed onthe light box, the system automatically senses which areas ofthe light box are needed for viewing and masks the areas thataren't required for illumination. SmartLight, of Haifa, Israel,believes the system makes images seem sharper and cuts down oneye strain experienced by radiologists.
