Swearingen Software installed its 180th radiology information system last month at Lincoln General Hospital in Ruston, LA. With 180 units installed across the U.S., the Houston company claims that it is the second-largest provider of stand-alone RIS systems. Swearingen’s lastest RIS version, RMS for DOS Release 10, is a PC-based, HL7-compliant unit that the company has priced at around $31,200. Multiple site licenses are available.
