Digital x-ray developer Swissray International announced this month its plans to reorganize the company, although it declined to provide details of the restructuring. The company said restructuring was necessary as the firm moves from a development phase into a product marketing phase. Swissray's AddOn-Multi-System received 510(k) clearance in December (SCAN 1/21/98). The New York City-based firm also said that it plans to immediately enter negotiations with a group of investors concerning a financing of the firm's short-term and medium-term capital needs.
