Swissray sells digital system to New York radiology group

Digital radiography developer Swissray International has sold an AddOn-Multi System to Seaview Radiology, a radiology group based on the north campus of Staten Island University Hospital in Staten Island, NY. The digital radiography system is scheduled to be installed in May and Seaview Radiology is planning to purchase additional systems in the near future, according to the company. Financial terms of the sale were not released.

In other company news, Swissray has established an OEM agreement with PACS and computed radiography vendor Agfa. Swissray will distribute Agfa's laser imagers, dry printer, and CR systems, according to the New York City-based company. The deal allows Swissray to provide a complete solution for a digital radiology department, according to Ueli Laupper, vice president.
