Pharmaceutical company Syncor has named Rod Boone to the positions of executive vice president and president of the company’s pharmacy services division. Growth in the pharmacy services division has prompted creation of the new role of pharmacy

Pharmaceutical company Syncor has named Rod Boone to the positions of executive vice president and president of the company’s pharmacy services division. Growth in the pharmacy services division has prompted creation of the new role of pharmacy services division president.

For 13 years, Boone, 42, was with Cardinal Health subsidiary Allegiance, a manufacturer and distributor of medical, surgical, and laboratory supplies, where he served most recently as president of the West Region. He also held high-level positions with the company in business development, support services, sales, and customer relations. In addition, Boone has held management positions with Owens & Minor, a medical supplies distributor.
