X-ray film digitizer manufacturer Lumisys said growth in the teleradiologymarket has increased the company's sales for its second quarter(end-June). Net income dropped, however, due to the expirationof tax benefits the Sunnyvale, CA, company had been using.

For the quarter, Lumisys had sales of $5.9 million, up 26%over sales of $4.7 million in the same period the year before.Net income was $896,000, compared with $1.4 million in the secondquarter of 1995.
