Toshiba to integrate TomTec module

Toshiba America Medical Systems of Tustin, CA, has reached anagreement with TomTec Imaging Systems of Boulder, CO, to combineTomTec's integrated digital ultrasound platform with Toshiba'sPowerVision cardiovascular ultrasound scanner. TomTec's imageacquisition module can be added to PowerVision as an option andenables users to perform stress echo capabilities, optical diskstorage, and some networking functions, according to the company.
