The president and CEO of Syncor International's Comprehensive Medical Imaging center business has left the company after only five weeks on the job, the Woodland Hills, CA, firm reported last month. James Usdan resigned from CMI effective July 10, just over a month after he was hired to lead the division (SCAN 5/13/98). Syncor declined to state why Usdan left the company.
Syncor president and CEO Robert Funari will take over Usdan's duties on an interim basis as head of CMI until a replacement is hired. CMI was formed earlier this year to spearhead Syncor's foray into the imaging center market through the acquisitions of National Diagnostic Services and TME (SCAN 2/4/98).
