Medical imaging software company Vital Images has obtained a nonexclusive license from Winston-Salem, NC-based PointDx for patents related to virtual endoscopy. Access to the technology will allow Vital Images to enhance its CT colonoscopy technology in Vitrea 2, the company’s flagship software product.
