Gary Weinstein has resigned from his positions as chairman of Trex Medical of Danbury, CT, and chairman and CEO of Trexs parent, ThermoTrex of San Diego. The news follows several months of personnel changes at Trex Medical, beginning with the December departure of president and CEO Hal Kirshner, and continuing with management changes in its Bennett X-Ray and Continental X-Ray divisions (SCAN 1/13/99 and 2/3/99).
Weinstein is returning to New York-based Lehman Brothers, where he will be responsible for global healthcare banking. Senior vice president of ThermoElectron, Anne Pol, will act as interim president for the San Diego company during the search for a permanent replacement, while John Keiser, COO of ThermoElectrons biomedical and emerging technologies division, will serve as chairman.
