Agfa lost another high-ranking PACS executive when Henri "Rik" Primo left the company for a position as marketing manager at Siemens Medical Systems of Iselin, NJ. In his new job, Primo will spearhead the development and integration of Siemens' PACS products with other information technology, with the ultimate goal of developing an enterprise-wide image and information management system.

Primo was based at Agfa's European headquarters in Mortsel, Belgium, and along with Vishal Wanchoo and Geert Claeys helped lay the foundation for Agfa's highly successful PACS program. Wanchoo left Agfa last year to lead the PACS division of GE Medical Systems (SCAN 12/17/97).
