Native support for the DICOM standard is an attractive feature for SSD-1700 DynaView, an ultrasound scanner developed by Aloka of Wallingford, CT (Hall B, #8348). Aloka also featured the scanner at last year's RSNA meeting.

At this year's show, Aloka will highlight the functionality that native DICOM support adds, as well as the finalized versions of technologies shown as works-in-progress at the 1996 show, according to Lee Oppegaard, director of marketing.
