Workstation tools designed to increase productivity and efficiency were featured upgrades in Fuji's launch of Synapse 2.2 at the Symposium for Computer Applications in Radiology (SCAR) exhibition in Cleveland in May. Enhancements to the latest version of the company's PACS offering, first shown as works-in-progress at last year's RSNA meeting, include a cross-sectional navigational system, which allows users to navigate axial, coronal, and sagittal stacks of CT or MR slices. Also included are next generation speech recognition technology and Power Jacket, which offers a quick electronic view of the patient's entire radiology record.
