Diagnostic Imaging Europe has a new editorial advisor in Greece.

Dr. Elias N. Brountzos is head of interventional radiology at Attikon University Hospital in Athens and associate professor of radiology at Athens University. He is also chairman of the scientific program committee with the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe, research fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital and Oregon Health and Sciences University, and a clinical fellow at Zurich University Hospital Zurich.

His main research interests are cellular mechanisms of restenosis after PTA and stenting in the peripheral arteries; biosynthetic prosthetic venous valve for venous insufficiency; liver resection and portal vein embolization for residual liver volume augmentation; peripheral stents; and endovascular treatment of abdominal and thoracic aneurysms.
