Digital x-ray developer Imaging Dynamics Corp. (IDC) has put together two deals: one a software development and licensing agreement with Analogic, and the other a supply, sales, and service arrangement with fellow Canadian ALI Technologies. Analogic will provide image algorithm and processing software that will be integrated into IDC’s Xplorer 1700 digital x-ray system. Specifically, these algorithms address image segmentation and contrast optimization. Conversely, ALI will provide workstation software to be incorporated into Xplorer 1700. ALI will also provide direct sales and service to Imaging Dynamics’ customers for image management and archiving, and will serve as a marketing channel for the Xplorer product.
