Eastman Kodak has completed its acquisition of the Nova MicroSonics division of ultrasound vendor ATL. Executives of the Rochester, NY-based film and digital imaging giant welcomed Nova into the Kodak fold in a ceremony held April 30 at Nova's Allendale, NJ, headquarters.
ATL, of Bothell, WA, agreed to sell Nova to Kodak in February (SCAN 2/19/97). Nova developed the Access ultrasound image management workstation, which Kodak has integrated into its line of PACS products.
