Eastman Kodak has received Food and Drug Administration 510(k) clearance for Image View, an offering that takes images off archives and makes them available for review via Web browsers. The Rochester, NY-based company demonstrated the product as a work-in-progress at the 1997 Radiological Society of North America meeting under the name Image Server.
