The ultrasound group of Siemens Medical Systems has received 510(k)clearance from the Food and Drug Administration for its SonolineVersa mid-range color-flow Doppler scanner. The Issaquah, WA-basedgroup introduced the system at last year's Radiological Societyof North America meeting (SCAN 11/23/94). Siemens has been sellingthe scanner outside the U.S. and has installed 300 systems todate, according to the company.
