Star, of Sterling, VA, said itwould continue to look for mergers or acquisitions as part ofits strategy to rebuild its revenue base.
Star and EIT, also of Sterling, announced the merger deal inAugust (SCAN 9/11/96). The deal would have given Star a revenuestream to replace sales lost when a deal to supply CT reconstructionprocessors to GE Medical Systems broke down.
