Toshiba America Medical Systems of Tustin, CA, has received 510(k) clearance for its entry-level Auklet CT scanner, which was introduced at last year's Radiological Society of North America meeting (SCAN 11/26/97). Toshiba is targeting the helical system at international markets, but will also sell it in the U.S. at a list price of about $410,000. Shipments are scheduled to begin by this summer.
