Paul Viviano has joined Alliance Imaging as president and chief operating officer. Effective Jan. 7, he was also added to company's board of directors. Viviano's administrative healthcare background spans 25 years, most recently as the CEO of the University of Southern California University Hospital and the USC Norris Cancer Hospital in Los Angeles. Viviano replaces Jamie Hopping, who resigned in June 2002.
