Jamie E. Hopping, president and COO of Alliance Imaging, will resign effective June 30. Hopping, who joined Alliance Imaging in November 2000, will become COO of Nashville-based Ardent Healthcare, a provider of healthcare services. He will also serve on Ardent's board of directors. Alliance, a provider of outsourced diagnostic imaging services, has begun the search process for a new COO. In the interim, the company's executive vice presidents for the eastern and western U.S. will report to Richard N. Zehner, Alliance chair and CEO.
