ScImage unveiled an analytical tool for assessing coronary arteries filled with either MR or CT contrast media. The new product, called VascularView, creates volumetric selective angiograms of arteries of interest. Delineating complex curved lumens with very limited user interaction, VascularView allows the user to study the spatial relationship between calcified plaque and lumen, the eccentricity of plaques, and the extent of narrowing. Observations are noted on the fly while the image data are read, using ScImage's PicomNotes, a knowledge-driven reporting utility. Comprehensive reports are created automatically with a click of a button.
