Italian pharmaceutical maker Bracco has completed its acquisition of Acist, a start-up that manufactures contrast media injection systems. Bracco previously had a 12% stake in Acist, whose latest generation of injectors allows the automatic and controlled administration of fluids during x-ray procedures. Acist has more than 500 systems installed worldwide and a 50% share of the U.S. cardiology injector market.
