Computer Sciences Corp. (CSC) has launched MDr Portal and MDr WebReport, two products aimed at the online practice management market. MDr Portal enables physicians to access claims management, patient account history, and physician productivity reports via the Internet or over a private network. Users can also access HealthGate, a resource for physician research databases and patient education materials, through the portal.
MDr WebReport makes reports available to users over the Internet. Users can annotate reports, perform keyword searches, run reports based on certain time periods, and selectively print parts of reports. El Segundo, CA-based CSC stores the reports and annually provides clients with a CD containing all their reports. Clients can also download and store reports on their local systems.
