Computerized Thermal Imaging of Ogden, UT, announced last month that it will consolidate its subsidiary, Thermal Medical Imaging, into CTI. The company established TMI to investigate the use of CTI’s medical thermal imaging technology in breast cancer applications.

CTI believes that incorporating TMI into its larger business will reduce operating costs and improve efficiency. It also hopes that the consolidation will eliminate confusion in the industry about the two companies and their relationship to each other, according to president David Packer. As a first step, all of the company’s management and accounting functions have been consolidated to CTI’s office in Layton, UT, Packer said.
