Diasonics Vingmed Ultrasound announced it will integrate MedSim's UltraSim ultrasound simulation technology into the vendor's Synergy ultrasound system. UltraSim will be available as an option on Synergy, the Santa Clara, CA-based firm's mid-range ultrasound scanner. UltraSim is a training system that allows for real-time ultrasound training without the need for patient models.
