Dicomit Imaging Systems has announced that Canon's Astro Business Solutions division will resell Dicomit's DICOM Image Manager ultrasound connectivity product. The Image Manager upgrades any non-DICOM ultrasound scanner to DICOM 3.0, according to Richmond Hill, Ontario-based Dicomit. The two companies have worked closely together since the 1996 Radiological Society of North America meeting and have installed Dicomit products at key Canon PACS accounts. Initial sales have surpassed both vendors' expectations, according to the firms.
