Elscint has hired former Toshiba executive Peter Annand as senior

vice president of operations at its Hackensack, NJ, subsidiary,

filling a position left vacant by the departure of Donald Southard

earlier this year (SCAN 8/28/96). Annand will oversee U.S. sales,

marketing, and service of equipment manufactured in Haifa, Israel,

and Ft. Collins, CO, and will report to CEO and president Dr.

Thomas Spackman.
