Premier Purchasing Partners, the group purchasing division of Premier, has awarded a three-year contract to Fujifilm Medical Systems USA for its Synapse PACS. Several healthcare facilities purchased Synapse under Premier's previous PACS purchasing agreement. The new contract, which covers all PACS-related software and hardware components as well as professional services and technical support offerings, is effective through May 30, 2007. It is in addition to a comprehensive medical film and imager contract, as well as a cassette-based CR contract that Fuji currently holds with Premier.
