GE Medical Systems has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Micro Medical Systems, a Sioux Falls, SD-based provider of client-server and Web-based clinical applications for cardiology. Micro Medical is currently owned by Life Diagnostics; the deal includes the purchase of all outstanding shares of Life Diagnostics and is subject to shareholder approval. The acquisition is expected to close in September.
