Healinx, a provider of Internet-based doctor-patient communication tools, is partnering with athenahealth.com to develop an integrated suite that will add patient-physician messaging to athenahealth’s Web-based workflow automation service. The athenaNet-Communicator will also be designed to streamline administrative processes for physicians. The product will be offered via an ASP model and is expected to be commercially available early next year.
