September's annual meeting of the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe in Rome attracted around 4700 attendees.

There were more than 100 hours of sessions and workshops, and the technical exhibition occupied 1500 m2 of floorspace. The 2007 congress will take place in Athens from 8 to 12 September.
