The 150th Xpress CR System will soon ship from Konica Medical Imaging. The order for this system puts Konica on track to far exceed its sales expectations for computed radiography in fiscal year 2003, according to the company. The Konica Xpress CR System, which can read 90 phosphor plates per hour, was first introduced late last year at the annual RSNA meeting. It is marketed through Konica's direct sales force and through select industry distributors.
