Marconi appoints e-business vice president

In a move signaling the growing importance of the Internet in diagnostic imaging, Marconi Medical Systems announced the creation of the new position of vice president, e-business. The first appointee is Mark Dalen.

According to the company, Dalen will be responsible for assessing Marconi’s Internet businesses and technologies. He has had a career in technology-based industries, recently at USWeb.
