Marconi Medical Systems' Health Care Products (HCP) division has signed a four-year extension to a contract with Bon Secours Health System. Under terms of the agreement, Marconi will provide Bon Secours members with medical supplies worth more than $6 million a year.
The products will include film chemicals, barium, accessory imaging products, and mailing and filing materials. Marconi guarantees that service will be maintained at a level of at least 98%.
Bon Secours is a Catholic health system headquartered in Marriottsville, MD. It operates 24 acute-care hospitals, 11 nursing facilities, and numerous other primary- care and outpatient facilities.
Bon Secours will be integrated into Marconi's e-commerce site, www.marconihcp.com, said Larry Miller, vice president and general manager of HCP business.
