Computer information services company MEDai has signed a strategic alliance with Novant Health to develop clinical data services using MEDai artificial intelligence tools. The joint venture, named Novant Health Information Services, will start by providing clinical information to clinicians throughout the Novant Health System, which boasts seven hospitals, 28 provider and outpatient facilities, and three long-term-care facilities. The goal of the alliance is to create an enterprise-wide view of health management, technology, and outcomes throughout the Novant network. The newly formed company plans to focus its marketing efforts initially on facilities in the southeastern U.S.
