Philips automates archiving of obstetric data
New Smart Results OB reporting and image management software from Philips Healthcare help streamline a practice’s workflow and prevent entry errors, according to the company. Now available to customers in the U.S. and expected to be available to Canadians in fall, the new product helps increase efficiency by integrating and automating workflow. Instead of manually entering exam information, checking measurements and transcriptions for accuracy, Smart Results OB takes obstetric data from an ultrasound system and automatically populates report fields to help save time and prevent entry errors. Reports can be shared with referring doctors via email or fax. Completed reports can be stored to an electronic medical records system or PACS.
