Medical supply and equipment distributor PSS World Medical of Jacksonville, FL, announced last month that its subsidiary, Diagnostic Imaging, has purchased three more distributors: Wallace X-Ray of Knoxville, TN; Western X-Ray of Salt Lake City; and Delta X-Ray of Oklahoma City. The three imaging companies represent combined revenues of $11 million and will be accounted for as cash purchase transactions.
On Jan. 5, the company reported that it had acquired Coastal Medical Systems of Seattle, a private imaging distributor that serves Washington, Oregon, Alaska, northern Idaho, and western Montana and boasts annual revenues of $9 million. The acquisitions bring PSS World Medical's distributor network to more than 61 sites nationwide.
