The Romanian Ministry of Health has given Swissray International $2 million as a down payment toward its $13.8 million contract for the purchase of 32 ddRMulti-Systems (SCAN 10/27/99). The company expects to deliver the equipment and collect the balance of the contract by June 30. The contract is guaranteed by Swiss Export Risk Guarantee. The money came through the ABN AMRO Bank, which financed the agreement.
