Siemens Medical Systems has received a massive order for $20 millionin medical imaging equipment, with a strong emphasis on digitalimage management. Hennepin County Medical Center of Minneapolislast month said it had selected the Iselin, NJ, vendor to installa variety of medical imaging scanners as well as a Sienet PACSnetwork to link the hospital with four satellite clinics. TheSienet installation will begin with several workstations and growinto a filmless operation, according to Siemens.
