Siemens Medical Systems has entered into a five-year purchasing agreement with regional group purchasing organization Shared Services Healthcare. Under the agreement, Iselin, NJ-based Siemens becomes the sole medical device provider to Atlanta-based SSH. SSH members will now be able to purchase all Siemens imaging modalities, oncology treatment products, patient monitors, ventilators, and anesthesia equipment at discount prices. Siemens expects the agreement to generate more than $250 million in revenues.
