Toshiba America Medical Systems of Tustin, CA, has begun marketing a new multipurpose x-ray system called Tosrad. The system comes in six different models, with either a floor-mounted or ceiling-suspended x-ray tube architecture. Other features include an elevating bucky table that electronically adjusts patient height, and a barless planar tomography feature that requires no mechanical hook-ups to perform tomography exams.
