Digitizer manufacturer Vidar Systems has announced that it will provide its HD-CCD film digitizers to KLT Telecom for use in the Chantilly, VA-based firm's Viewsend line of teleradiology, telemedicine, and videoconferencing systems. KLT will employ Vidar's DiagnosticPro and TeleRadPro units, which were introduced at the 1998 RSNA meeting (PNN 1/99). The units should be ready for shipment in the second quarter of this year, according to Vidar of Herndon, VA.
