Provox Technologies of Roanoke, VA, debuted a next-generation voice recognition (VR) solution at the Society for Computer Applications in Radiology (SCAR) annual meeting June 7 to 10 in Boston. TalkNotes RAD is the latest in the company's TalkNotes series of VR-based clinical dictation products. Provox VR products address some 30 medical specialties, but this is the first from the company designed specifically for radiology. TalkNotes RAD includes flexible dictating options, the ability to edit voice files remotely and update voice files using a remote proofreader, smart macros that utilize RIS and PACS information, multiple location replication, and system usage reporting analysis.
