Acuson has introduced ViewPro-Net, image review software that allows echocardiography departments to access the firm’s DIMAQ-integrated ultrasound workstation remotely via a local area network, according to the Mountain View, CA-based firm. With ViewPro-Net, users can review, report, and archive routine and stress echocardiogram studies, according to Acuson. Image studies can be archived directly to CD-ROM media. Acuson made the announcement at the American College of Cardiology meeting last week.
