Doors to the European Union and Japan have opened for Acuson's Cypress, a portable echocardiography system recently awarded the CE mark. The compact unit, which weighs less than nine kilograms, was showcased at the American College of Cardiology annual meeting March 18-21. Cypress is a comprehensive cardiovascular product equipped for transthoracic echocardiography applications including adult, pediatric, stress-echo, and contrast agent imaging.
