Acuson promotes key executives

Acuson of Mountain View, CA, has promoted two longtime executives, Robert Gallagher and Daniel Dugan. Gallagher was named vice chairman of the board, while Dugan was promoted to president, a position previously held by Gallagher. Gallagher will continue as COO. In another move, Edward Cornell, who joined Acuson in September 1997, was named senior vice president of engineering.
